For new Google Play developer accounts

Real testers. Real 14 days.

New personal developer accounts need 12 testers opted in to a closed test for 14 days in a row. Genuine Testers pairs you with other Android developers: you test theirs, they test yours, and both of you see every day's progress.

Step 1

List your app

Add your closed-testing opt-in link and Google Group. A checklist makes sure both work first.

Step 2

Swap

Offer your app for someone else's. When they accept, you both start day 1 together.

Step 3

Prove it daily

Upload one screenshot a day. Owners approve; silence approves automatically after 48 h.

Step 4

Finish 14 days

Track every tester on a day-by-day grid and export a report for your records.

Built to be fair

No silent removals

A missed day is a warning. Three warnings start a 24-hour notice, and you can always appeal.

Reliability score

Approved proofs given ÷ proofs owed. Reliable testers get matched first.

Timezone-fair deadlines

Each day closes at noon the next day, in the tester's own timezone.

We recommend recruiting 15–16 testers: Google counts only testers who stay opted in for the whole 14 days. Rules change, so always check the current requirement in the Play Console Help Center.
